New State Meeting. - A new State meeting was held at Pleasant Hill in Marshall county, on Tuesday. The attendance was quite large. Joseph Turner was Chairman and Alexander Kemple Secretary. The meeting was opened with prayer by the Rev. Alexander.
Senator Burley took the stand and made a brief but pointed speech. He was followed by R. c. Holliday and M. McConnell o f Moundsville. The meeting was a good one from which results favorable to the new State are expected to flow.
