The undersigned, the Marshall county Central Committee, in pursuance of the object of their appointment, hereby nominate the following named persons as constituting the precinct committees to promote the new State cause in their respective districts, viz.:
Court House - James Burley, Samuel Jones, Samuel Dorsey, Robt. McConnell and Capt. D. Roberts.
Pleasant Hill - Joseph Turner, Thomas Morgan, Michael Dowler, Alexander Kemple and Geo. McCombs.
Benwood - Hiram McMahan, John R. Morrow and Kenry Kels.
Sand Hill - Seth Inghram, Dr. Marshman, James Taylor, Wm. Wilson and James Campbell.
Beeler's Station - Daniel Wilson, Levi Cunningham, Eli M. Salters, Benjamin Hill and Reuben Link.
Cross Roads - Silas Inghram, C. Dorsey and Wm. Philips.
Cameron - John Parkinson, John Inghram, James R. Bell, John Tarr and John Woodburn.
Big Run - Capt. John McDonald, Joseph S. Parriott, Asa Banning, Wm. E. Parriott and Saml. Reed.
Terrels - Van Lier Arnold, Martin Crow, George Hubbs, John Harris, J. P. Waymen.
Slippery Ford - Lazarus Rine and Henry B. Yoho.

Public meetings of the friends of the new State will be held throughout the county at the places and times following:
At Sand Hill, on Monday, March 2d, at 2 o'clock P. M.
At Pleasant Hill, on Tuesday, March 3d, at 2 o'clock P. M.
On Wednesday, March 4th, at the Bowman Ridge Church, at 3 o'clock P. M.
At Slippery Ford, on Thursday, March 5th, at 2 o'clock P. M.
At the Mouth of Fish Creek, on Friday, March 6th, at 2 o'clock P. M.
At the Roberts Ridge Church, on Saturday, March 7th, at 2 o'clock.
On Saturday, March 14th, at 2 o'clock, at Cameron; and on the same evening, at 6 o'clock, at Benwood.
On Monday, March 16th, (Court day) at 2 o'clock, at the Court House.
Speakers will be in attendance, and the duty of providing places of meeting, &c., will devolve upon the respective Precinct Committees.
As earnest appeal is made to the friends of a new State to come up with unbroken ranks to the prosecution of the enterprise which has engaged our efforts and our hopes through long months of watching and of labor, the consummation of which, if we do our duty, is now nigh.
The political life boat is before us - cast at our feet by the surging waves of State apostacy, internal convulsions, and the shock of war. The logic of quick-crowding inexorable events admonish us to go aboard now. Let us go forward, and mark as an enemy the man who would hinder or delay us with the rebel cry of Abolition, non-conformity to constitutional requirements, or with the dilatory plea of to-morrow and to-morrow.
