Mr. Lamb.
October 12, 1863
Mr. Lamb announces himself this morning as a candidate for re-election to the House of Delegates from this country. We are heartily glad to see him do so, and we think the people generally will be pleased in like manner. The Wellsburg Herald, in noticing the fact that Mr. Lamb will probably be employed to codify the laws, remarks:
"The State, at this day of shallow legislation, can ill afford to lose the benefit of his (Mr. Lamb's) experience, and we hope he may not long hold on to his seat in the House, but be commissioned to codify the laws."
