ESCAPED

Two Confederate prisoners named Robinson and Hunter, escaped from the guard yesterday morning. A squad of about twenty-five prisoners were being taken to Bridgeport to be sent to Camp Chase on the early train. There were no guards in the front or rear of the men, and when passing through the Bridgeport bridge the two prisoners in the rear stood still until the prisoners and guards had passed by, and then they made good their escape before daylight.
