RETURNED VETERANS
March 22, 1864
On Sunday evening a number of the Seventh West Virginia Infantry, arrived in the city on their return from their homes where they have been enjoying a thirty-days furlough. The city was rather quiet when the soldiers arrived, and when they struck up the lively martial music the inhabitants were somewhat startled.
