Fourteen Negro Recruits were mustered into the service of the United States on Thursday. They were credited to Hampshire and Taylor counties and most of them were mustered in as substitutes for persons residing in those counties. If those who are interested in filling our quota would pay some attention to this matter we have no doubt that many of these recruits could be induced to credit themselves to Ohio county in consideration of the three hundred dollars bounty, cash down.
