Lieut. John McAdams, of the 10th West Virginia Infantry, who was captured this winter while with Gen. Averill on the famous Salem raid, returned home yesterday, having escaped several weeks ago from a rebel prison at Columbia, S.C.:He escaped with several others, and walked four hundred miles barefooted and almost naked. We are glad to welcome him back again to God's own country.
