Yesterday, In the House of Delegates, Mr. Ferguson, the member from Cabell county, introduced resolution proposing the appointment of a committee to report a bill providing for the immediate abolition of Slavery in this State. Mr. F. asked that the resolution might lay over, announcing his intention to call, the matter up day to-day.
