Yesterday in the House of Delegates the report of the Committee on Privilges [sic] and Elections, in reference to the charges against Geo. K. Cox, the member from Calhoun and Gilmer counties, was read. It charges Mr. Cox, as we have fore stated, with nearly all the crimes known to the law. Mr. Cox asked for time to collect his evidence and refute the charges. He said he could prove that the charges were not only false in every particular, but maliciously so.
