The taking of Sutton.

The surgeon who had charge of the sick at Sutton, Va., arrived at Columbus, Ohio, at the close of last week, and informed the State Journal that the town was in charge of a company of Federal cavalry, who were guarding the sick there, and the place was attacked on Sunday week by a force of from three hundred to four hundred "bushwhackers," and the cavalry fled leaving ten or twelve sick soldiers who fell into rebel hands. They afterwards burned the entire town. What became of the sick left behind the Surgeon did not know.
