The West Virginia Legislature passed an act authorizing the formation of corporations for the purpose of constructing booms or dams in the following counties: Mineral County, Pocahontas County, Gilmer County, Greenbrier County, Summers County, Raleigh County, Fayette County, Nicholas County, Webster County, Lewis County, Wetzel County, Jackson County, Wyoming County, Tucker County, Preston County, McDowell County, Randolph County, Mercer County, and Logan County. It was approved by the governor on February 15. |
