The Henrietta Marie exhibit in the State Museum began life as a scale model incorporating the expected portions of the traveling exhibit, and the new items such as a small amphitheater and a 1/2 scale model of the ship. |
The ship was built in the space now occupied by the African area. The area was walled off and a large bubble made of plastic encased the room while the construction designers, David and Darren Husband, cut and sanded Styrofoam to create the wood effect. |
