Abstract: Books - Jacob Andrew Greenlee was born and raised on a farm in Mason County. He taught at Union School in Mason County before moving to Charleston, where he was employed by the Kanawha and West Virginia Railroad Company, the Baird Hardware Company, and the Capitol City Supply Company. Greenlee also served as the general superintendent of the Central Methodist Church Sunday School for more than twenty years, and serve as a delegate to the Methodist Northeastern Jurisdictional Conference in 1940 and the General Conference in 1956. In 1958 he was named Methodist Layman of the Year of the West Virginia Conference. He wrote and published poetry and several books on his childhood.
