Letter from Collis P. Huntington to Governor William E. Stevenson, 1870. (Ar1724)

Huntington was a railroad mogul and the founder of the city of Huntington, West Virginia. After purchasing the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway in 1871, Huntington wanted to extend the tracks from Richmond through southern West Virginia to the Ohio River where Huntington would serve as the western terminus.
