Bounty Meeting in Brooke County.

A mass meeting was held at the Court House on Saturday, the 30th inst., to consider the best method of filling the quota of Brooke county. Rev. W. Hervey was elected Chairman, and after stating the object of the meeting, submitted a resolution that the Supervisors be requested to levy a tax sufficient to pay each accepted volunteer for one year a bounty of $300 (three hundred dollars) which, after discussion pro and con, passed by a large majority.
